Senior Transportation

How transportation services can help you

All Sufficient Home Care Services provides in-home caregiving services that include transportation assistance when necessary. In-home caregivers can help you or a loved one get out of the house to enjoy the things that fulfill them or improve their quality of life.

  • Doctor and medical appointments

Trying to keep your doctor’s appointments in order can be challenging, especially when any number of other fires are burning. Transportation services can help make sure you don’t forget an important exam or test by helping you get there on time.

  • Shopping

Seniors often have many daily needs and errands that need to be done in a short amount of time. Transportation services can help seniors get to the store quickly and safely so they don’t run out of essential items like food or medicine. Having reliable transportation also means less stress for the person who has their hands full with these tasks!

  • Church

For some seniors, going to church is an important part of their routine and gives them time to reflect on their lives and spend time in the community with others. Getting to church is far easier with transportation services than without them; the caregiver will take you where you need to go and make sure that you get there safely, so that your mind is free for more important things!

  • Visiting friends and family members

Staying connected with friends and family members as we age is important, but it’s not always easy when we get older. Transportation services can help seniors stay in touch with their loved ones by giving them a ride whenever they want or need to visit someone close to them—and they won’t even have to worry about finding parking!

We make sure your loved one is safe.

All Sufficient Home Care Services, Inc., team of experienced caregivers is not only qualified to get your loved ones wherever they need to go safely but also has experience in ensuring their clients are comfortable and well-taken care of. Our caregivers are trained in the following:

  • Knowing how to transport someone safely. This includes how to correctly move a person from their home into the vehicle, making sure they are securely fastened in their seatbelt or wheelchair, and ensuring that all medical equipment (such as oxygen tanks) is properly secured during transport.
  • Making sure they are comfortable. This means checking with them frequently on whether they need assistance getting into and out of the vehicle or adjusting themselves during longer drives. The caregiver will also ask them what music they would like to play during their trip, adjust the temperature settings as requested, and do everything possible to make sure they feel relaxed while on the drive!
  • Ensuring they are not in any danger. If the passenger requests water or snack, our caregiver will be ready with it for them right away. Our caregiver will also make sure that any other needs are tended to promptly, such as stopping at rest stops if needed or requesting help from a family member at any point during the trip.
  • Making sure they have everything they need! In addition to keeping track of medications and other necessities (like oxygen tanks), our caregivers will make sure that there aren’t any issues with medical equipment before leaving for an appointment by asking questions like “Do you think we should bring extra batteries?” or “Is your insulin pen filled up enough for today?”
